Since the Mumbai attack, I am following news and debates on his issue from all the sources possible available to me. I was gazing at not only Indian channels but also at Pakistani channels, Thanks to youtube. I observed a clear difference between Indian media and Pak media. Just after attack, Indian journalists were in attacking mood and were talking about what action should India take against Pak (as they already assumed Pakistani involvement rather than waiting for investigation reports to come out). Where as Pak journalist were in defensive mood and were carping some handful emotional and illogical rationales like " Pakistan is also victim of terror" or " every time something happens in India, they blame Pakistan" etc. Some of them even called Mumbai attacks were perpetrated by India only just because ATS Chief, who was investigating Sadhvi Pragya case, was murdered. My all these observations not only made me to laugh at Pak media but also made me to proud Indian media for unity in their intensions against external powers. But to my sorrow it didn’t continue for so long.
Yesterday was 26 Dec 2008, less than 1 month of Mumbai attack, all the candle congregation, protest against politicians, public gathering to show unity are over and the same media has started talking about issues like "Should KASAB get defense?"
Check out the link to read our journalists discussing.

Mrs Ramjeth Malani, I am sure that you are right as a lawyer but as religion are made for human and not the human for the religion, same way constitution is made for Indians and not the Indians for constitution. Even if Indians are made for constitution then too those are "Indians" and not "Pakistani".
Bharat Kumar Raut said it very well
"The basic purpose of having a legal process in place and a trial is to bring about the truth. When everyone knows the truth, then that question of legal aid does not arise. Secondly, the Indian law is meant for Indian nationals,"
Mrs. Jethmalani should ask Harish Salve's below words to him at the end of this debate.
"Why should we not treat this man, who on his own admission has been supported and trained by ISI - which is a Pakistan government organization - as a terrorist who has waged war on India? I say treat him as a Prisoner of War. I think the Government of India is letting the common man down again. It is high time that the nation stood up and fought back. Sponsoring, supporting and committing terrorism on your land is contrary to the United Nations resolution. A state like Pakistan should be treated as having committed an act of war,"
I urge Mrs Jethmalani to ask himself "who is more important for Indian constitution, Indian public or a Pakistani who came to India illegally, killed so many innocents , raped India's image all over the world just because he had not anything to do in his own country."
Mrs. Jethmalni's below words show that he was there in discussion, with some prejudices and to some extent was yelling his anger with Shivsena
"We will not destroy our reputation merely because the Shiv Sena wants it to be destroyed"
I liked comment by one reader and sharing same here.
"Pakistan does not even want to allow foreign agencies to interrogate suspected terrorist and we are debating on if Kasab should get legal aid. What sort intellectual fools are we? All we need to do is to keep him alive till he is disclosing information or till the time the we can produce him in front of the world as one of the proofs against Pakistan. Let us focus our attention on the steps to be taken against Pakistan rather than diverting our attention to such useless things. The prospects of taking any action against Pakistan are fading fast. People have started going back to their daily grind. That’s exactly what the Politicians want and that’s what the media is doing. Good! Let the people sleep until they are shaken up or woken up by another such attack. We have seen 4100 attacks after all."
These are very genuine emotions which are pleading our intellectuals to react according to constitution to stop such attacks or if it happens to teach a lesson to our enemies and not to talk about right of a Pakistani terrorist.
